RN – CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)Location: White Plains, NYJob Type: 13-week contractJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The RN will provide critical care nursing to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, heart failure patients, and those requiring advanced cardiac interventions. This role requires advanced clinical skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, inotropes, and sedation per protocol
• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiac and post-surgical patients in the CVICU
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters, cardiac rhythms, and invasive lines
• Manage patients requiring ventilators, chest tubes, IABP, CRRT, and other advanced therapies
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on recovery, treatment plans, and follow-up
• Document all care and interventions accurately in the EMR system
