Job Details- 5+ years ED experience required.
- If candidate has ICU & ED experience, will be considered.
- 250 bed Academic Community Hospital serving the region for more than 120 years.
- Region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center – Accredited by American College of Cardiology (ACC) Accreditation Services for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure and American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.
- Comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED services, home health & hospice agency, advanced wound healing center, cardiac rehabilitation center, 2 cath labs, one day surgery center, medical and radiation oncology.
Job Requirements- 5+ years in Emergency Department experience.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC.
Schedule Information- Shift: Mid: 7P – 7A
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: Rotating Weekends/As Needed
- Call Requirements: No
- Float Requirements: As Needed.
Unit Specific Information- Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms; 7 of the 31 are utilized as Behavioral Health or Acute patients.
- Patient Ratios: 1:4; Exceptions can occur if nurse has a discharge awaiting transportation or admit holds or high-volume days requiring immediate care.
- EHR: Primarily MedHost (ED) and Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health patients.
