Firefly Children & Family Alliance is looking for a Receptionist in Lafayette, IN. In this role, you will assist eligible families in applying for and maintaining childcare voucher assistance to allow families to work or attend school/training programs. This position will report to the CCDF Director of Administration. You Will:Data Management and Tracking (20%)
- Ensure paperwork drop off log is completed for each client
- Ensure all guests sign in upon entry to the building as well as for appointments
Provide Internal and External Customer Service (70%)
- Direct telephone inquiries to the correct parties
- Screen walk-in guests and notify proper staff
- Answer questions and provide information and documentation as necessary
General Clerical and Admin (10%)
- Photocopying, faxing, filing, emailing
- Support program staff as needed
You Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Telephone experience in answering multiple incoming lines.
- Clerical experience.
- Knowledge of Computer and office equipment
- Acquire Knowledge of agencies programs.
- Ability to work with a team when applicable.
- Ability to respond appropriately to cultural differences among staff, clients and visitors.
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English
