The Machine Operator maintains machines to keep production running by performing low level maintenance and basic restarts. Responsibilities:Provides continuous machine support by continuously monitoring secondary equipment for uptime efficiency and equipment safety.-Understands Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) impact to effectively communicate to Shift Leader repetitive breakdowns.-Resolves ongoing machine related problems (full bowls, closing machine restarts, grinder jams and color changes, purge removal from nozzle leaks).-Performs beginner-level preventative maintenance tasks (reparing coveryor, material jam, cleaning filters).-Performs material changeovers (ie, color changes, additives, etc.)-Supply materials to the presses.-Machine Operators are not authorized to perform start up after a set up.
