Role Description

The patent prosecution associate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses. Candidates will have experience with, IP due diligences, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings and other IP matters for small molecule pharmaceuticals. Candidates must have an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in chemistry, with a strong emphasis in organic or medicinal chemistry, and be registered to practice with the USPTO.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry or related field.
• Admitted to the USPTO
• Massachusetts Bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience prosecuting patent applications in biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
