We're hiring immediately for full-time Package Delivery Driver to deliver FedEx packages from our warehouse in Salina, Kansas. Skedaddle Inc. is a contractor for FedEx responsible for deliveries to areas north of Salina including Minneapolis, Concordia, Mankato, and Belleville. Starting pay for Package Delivery Drivers is up to $18.00/hour, plus a $1.00/hour differential for employees working on weekends as part of their regular schedule. We have immediate openings for employees available to work 08:30 AM - 7:00 PM daily.In this role, you'll deliver packages weighing up to 150 pounds using a company cargo van or step van. This role is a physically active, outdoors position which requires being able to walk about 5 miles per day to/from the front door of addresses while continuously bending, climbing, standing, and pushing/pulling carts.Competitive Pay and Benefits include:
- Starting hourly pay of $18.00/hour for cargo van drivers, with a $1.00/hour differential for employees working on weekends. Drivers can also get promoted to a Step Van / Lead Driver to earn up to $20.00/hour.

WHERE IS THIS POSITION LOCATED?This position is based at our delivery terminal in Salina at 3660 Scanlan Ave, Salina, KS 67401WHEN DOES THIS POSITION WORK?Hourly employees work 4 days a week, up to 10 hours per day, between the hours of 08:30 AM - 7:00 PM. We have immediate openings for employees available to work.WHAT ARE THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVER?
- Operate a Cargo Van or Cutaway Box Van. This role will require completing a DOT physical and obtaining a DOT medical card (paid for by the company).
- Work for 10 hours per day to complete a full delivery route where you may deliver packages to 80 - 100 addresses per day.
- Walk, lift, climb, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
- Lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 150 pounds each on a frequent basis.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, managers, and delivery terminal employees.
- Speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
- Operate a global positioning system (GPS) navigation system for guidance to each delivery address on your route.
- Use electronic devices for route navigation and planning, along with for scanning packages for delivery or pickup.

- Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a Commercial Driver Medical Certification
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
