Responsibilities Body Shop Technician:
- Repair all assigned vehicles
- Restore damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, following the written repair order
- Process repairs with speed and ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Approach repair planning with a sense of urgency and attention to detail to avoid waste and rework later in the process
- De-trim and disassemble vehicles, putting parts on parts carts
- Perform pre-pulls to make repair vs. replace decisions
- Assist in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary
- Use good judgement in determining when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings
- Help maintain parts-materials carts in an organized manner
Qualifications / Requirements Body Shop Technician:
- 5 plus years at a collision center is required
- A good work history with references is required
- Knowledge of manufacturers repair processes is required
- Must maintain a valid state drivers license
- Ability to lift, push, pull over 50 pounds
