The president/CEO of the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) informs the general public that ERuDeF is seeking to recruit a dynamic, visionary and independent thinking person to fill the position of a Community Forest Specialist in its office in Buea.
Profile of the Prospective Candidate:
Masters degree in Forestry, forest engineering, forest recreation or related fields (such as wildlife management, Biology, plant pathology), with a minimum of two (2) years of working experience in a related field. OR A Bachelors degree in the aforementioned fields with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience. Basic knowledge and skills related to community forestry, natural resources, or closely related field. Knowledgeable about tree identification, selection, proper planting and care, and community-based tree planting programs. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Capable of working and staying in rural areas for long periods. Should be perfectly bilingual. Application Process:
