Paralegal / Legal Support Lead Officer

Citi is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Support Lead Officer to join its North America (NAM) Legal Entity Governance team. The position will work closely with lawyers and other legal professionals on the NAM Legal Entity Governance team, International Legal Entity Governance, Product Legal, and entity senior management to provide best-in-class governance to Citi's NAM entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting documentation/corporate secretary function for in-scope entities in alignment with regulation and best practices
• Drafting and reviewing documents including but not limited to secretary certificates, certificates of incumbency, officer and director appointments, powers of attorney and annual meeting materials
• Maintaining corporate records, ensuring their accuracy and completeness
• Liaising with management of legal entities and governance teams as required
• Managing and/or supporting governance projects across entities and geographies
• Enhancing corporate recordkeeping practices, developing templates and processes and leveraging technology to foster consistency and timely and effective client support

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience; experience with a global financial institution preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Record of identifying issues and proposing workable solutions
• Proven organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, teamwork, and analytical skills
• Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with various groups across the firm
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
