Job Summary: To lead the digital transformation and growth of our parts and service business. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that enhances customer experience, drives online sales, and integrates seamlessly with our broader aftermarket operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy for vehicle sales, parts, and services.
- Align digital initiatives with overall business goals and dealership operations.
- Platform Management
- Oversee the performance and optimization of e-commerce platforms (e.g., dealer websites, third-party marketplaces).
- Ensure seamless integration with CRM, inventory, and payment systems.
- Oversee the development, optimization, and maintenance of the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Marketing & Conversion
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive traffic through SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media.
- Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to increase conversion rates.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion, cart abandonment, and customer retention.
- Use data to identify trends, improve UX/UI, and inform strategic decisions.
- Team & Vendor Management
- Lead cross-functional teams including digital marketing, IT, and customer service.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure a frictionless online shopping experience from browsing to checkout.
- Implement personalization strategies and post-sale engagement tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce/websites, with at least 3+ years in the automotive sector
- Strong understanding of automotive retail operations and digital transformation
- Proficiency in platforms like Shopify, Magento, or proprietary dealer systems
- Analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics, CRM tools, and A/B testing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and inventory feeds
- Experience with omni-channel retail strategies and mobile-first design
- Knowledge of compliance and data privacy regulations in automotive e-commerce
