Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic HR team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to manage critical HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance, while contributing to the company's strategic initiatives. Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:
  • Oversee benefits administration, including plan selection, open enrollment, employee education, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with outsourced vendors to manage leave administration for FMLA, NYSPFL, and NYSDBL.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support employee relations and performance management initiatives.
  • Provide technical support for ADP and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
  • Conduct and assist with required reporting, such as EEO filings.
  • Maintain the HR intranet and update policies and procedures.
  • Other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Qualifications for the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, including benefits and leave administration.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ADP is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience with workers' compensation administration.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $75,000 - $80,000.
