Print Shop Assistant (FWS)Job no: 550768 Work type: Student Assistant - Federal Work Study Location: Stanislaus - Turlock Categories: Administrative, Temporary, Time Varies, On-site (work in-person at business location), Unit 15 - CSUEU - Student AssistantsPosition SummaryTemporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Print Shop.Start DatePosition available on or after August 20, 2025 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Assist with Stan Prints customer service via the phone, at the front counter, and emailCheck and respond to shop e-mail requests and notifications where appropriateAssist with Graphic Design jobs when needed.Preparing electronic files for final printing (preflight)Graphic Design ProjectsAssist with production on the Reprographics Copy Machines.Faculty/Staff printing projects and student printing projectsAssist with deliveries to department's campus widePrint jobsWarrior copies supplies (paper, toner, staples, etc.)Assist with keeping Stan Prints and the copy program supplies organized and clean.Assist with basic copier jams/maintenance including toner and staple replenishment.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative cloud software.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of graphic design.Web design software knowledge.Basic marketing knowledge.Required Qualifications:Must have a valid California Driver's LicenseRequired to lift up to 75lbs.Good customer service skills and verbal communication.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task.Basic computer skills on both PC and Mac.Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative cloud software.Basic knowledge of graphic design.Ability to learn on the job.Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
