What Youll Do:
As a Commercial Vehicle Build Technician, youll be at the heart of our upfitting operations, responsible for:
- Installing electrical systems, lighting, sirens, radios, and camera systems
- Assembling and integrating custom partitions, drawer systems, push bumpers, and more
- Reading schematics and build instructions to ensure accurate and safe installations
- Troubleshooting and validating vehicle systems including CAN bus and low-voltage wiring
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet build specs and timelines
- Maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to safety protocols
What You Bring:
- Experience in automotive, commercial fleet, or emergency vehicle upfitting
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills (12V24V systems, diagnostics, fabrication)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow structured build processes
- Familiarity with tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, and diagnostic scopes
- ASE or EVT certifications a plus
- A methodical mindset and commitment to quality craftsmanship
