San Diego, CA 92122 $22.00-$27.50/hour 1-Year AssignmentSummary The Customer Care Specialist (Field Support & Operations) serves as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and exceptional service. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and experience supporting both internal and external customers in service operations and order management. Key Responsibilities
- Process orders for instruments, parts, and consumables.
- Coordinate delivery of parts for Field Service and Support teams.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and work orders.
- Manage cases for billable services, oversee invoicing, and reconcile purchase order discrepancies.
- Track and communicate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure post-service satisfaction.
- Process credits, rebills, adjustments, and manage returns (including loaner equipment).
- Assign and manage service cases, maintaining accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.
- Provide responsive phone and email support for order and delivery inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years' customer service or related experience.
- Proficient in ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and act on reports.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with freight forwarders and basic international logistics preferred.
