Nokia of America Corporation, RFIC Design Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Provide support for high-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design, with fundamental concepts and assist with physical design and verification. Use the entire IC circuit design flow to verify and to implement the proposed solutions, starting from schematic entry and simulations, including corner and Monte Carlo, continuing with physical layout and concluding with final extracted layout verification and tape out. Test and debug analog and mixed signal high-speed I - Cs. Research existing patents and publications to compare the performance and trade-offs of those architectures. Propose new, original solutions to meet the specs and to achieve the overall system targets. Negotiate the individual sub-block or component specifications based on the overall system level goals and propose architectural solutions to implement them.
