Provides surgical assistance to the surgical residents and attending in the oral surgery clinic and dental ambulatory OR/procedure room. Responsibilities 1) Escorts patients to the surgical chair, screens patients awaiting surgery, reviews medical record to confirm treatment required and to ensure that chart is complete in terms of notes, PHM lad results, etc. Must be available at all times to provide four-handed assistance to the clinicians. 2) Ensures that all counter tops, mayo stands, equipment, etc., are cleaned and disinfected prior to setting up. 3) Organizes all sterile instruments, surgical trays, equipment, etc. for each procedure in Operatory. 4) Takes radiograph as requested, before, during and/or after the procedure.
