Join us and discover a pathway for career advancement where your hard work is not only recognized but rewarded.This role is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday.What you will do as a Loader Operator:* Load and unload logs as directed, ensuring production expectations are met.* Remove logs from the kick out bin daily with the knuckle-boom loader.* Ensure painted and oversized logs are taken to the metal yard, while others are placed back on the log deck.* Perform daily cleanup duties around the metal log field and kick out bin.* Perform or assist with weekly preventative maintenance on machinery and complete daily check sheets.* Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and promoting safe work practices.Experience and skills that will help you stand out:* 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment operating heavy-duty equipment.* Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.* Capable of sitting and/or standing for the entire shift (8-12 hours) and climbing in and out of machinery without assistance.* Frequently able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, with exposure to dust, vibration, and high noise levels.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* A high degree of urgency and attention to detail.* Desire to learn, grow, and succeed.* Knowledge of the wood manufacturing industry and machine operator/maintenance experience are considered an asset.Job Segment: Equipment Operator, Warehouse, Manufacturing
