This overall function of this position is to utilize a standard cleaning assignment to clean and sanitize an area of responsibility within a building. The position is also responsible for reporting discrepancies found within the building in addition to responding to emergencies and inclement weather. The position will use standard housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies to accomplish assigned tasks including, but not limited to: Vacuuming Mopping Scrubbing Dusting Disinfecting Replenishing Remove recycling from centralized indoor recycling sites Other Responsibilities Perform snow and ice removal within a team environment during inclement weather, in addition to coordinating with coworkers during group response to emergencies. Perform team cleaning tasks and projects during breaks, and when space is accessible. May be required to periodically strip and refinish floors, as well as shampoo and extract carpets.
