Position: Medical Assistant/ Patient Support Assistant. Location: Skokie, IL - Full Time/ Part Time: Full Time. Hours: Rotating hours between 7:30 am 4:30 pm. Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department need. What you will do:Answer phones. Schedule appointments. Collect co-payments. Complete patient registration. Provide other administrative support to the physician practice. Check in and check out patient. Verify insurances. Greet patients and escort them to exam room. Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit. Provide front office support as needed. Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight. Phlebotomy and injections may be required. What you will need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
