Job Description :
Assists the management team in the daily operations of the store and in meeting sales and production goals. Daily duties will include some management functions, opening/closing store, ensuring themselves/staff follows all policies and procedures. This position encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities related to book selling, including knowledge of books. Responsibilities Essential Functions Statements:Assists management in ensuring that revenue and production goals are achieved. Provides input/suggestions for improving product flow, inventory control, and operational efficiency. Opens and closes the store, fills out the necessary reports for the day. Provides guidance and direction to staff and ensures that all staff are assigned to the correct work area for proper coverage as well as assign break periods and lunch.
