This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments. Provides the various value streams with assistance in establishing effective material flow and replenishment in order to achieve premier customer service and lower inventory. Essential Functions May perform activities related to load planning of outbound trucks to meet customer delivery requirements and cost parameters. Utilize material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, skids, etc. to stage materials and load trucks. Verify product against shipping documents and authorizations, pack product for shipment according to specifications. Prepare bills of lading, post weight and shipping charges in appropriate systems. Maintain inventory levels of supplies such as cartons, tape and other packing material.
