Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology Diagnostic Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 (Hospital) Job Category: Acute - Allied Contract duration : 13 Weeks Shift: Night -(8x5) / Training Schedule: 2 weeks, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes EPIC class) / Rotating Weekends & Holidays: Required Pay Rate: $ 70 - $ 75 per Hour on W2 Position Summary: We are seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in acute care settings to join the Diagnostic Radiology team at Elmhurst Hospital Center . The ideal candidate must be proficient with relevant CT equipment and capable of working night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians in accordance with established protocols Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently Ensure high-quality imaging results while prioritizing patient safety and comfort Accurately document procedures in the EPIC system Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff Adhere to all hospital, departmental, and regulatory safety standards Required Qualifications: Licensure: Valid NYS Department of Health license as one of the following: Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technologist Radiation Therapy Technologist Certification: Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting BLS (Basic Life Support): Preferred About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
