Position Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from posting job openings and screening applicants to onboarding new hires. This role will utilize traditional and innovative sourcing methods to attract candidates both internally and externally. The Recruiter will also be involved in employee check-ins, exit interviews, and supporting various Human Resources programs as needed. Responsibilities:
- Comply with and actively promote all Safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, and near-misses to ensure adherence to the company's core value of Safety first.
- Develop and implement the company's recruitment strategy to meet staffing needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing requirements.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates (via phone or in person), administer assessments, conduct reference/background checks, and make recommendations for hire.
- Manage relationships with both internal and external partners to fulfill staffing requirements.
- Communicate benefits and compensation information to candidates during the offer process.
- Use a variety of resources to attract high-quality candidates, including attending college career fairs, online job fairs, and community networking events.
- Develop and implement advertising programs to increase the company's visibility and attract a large volume of potential candidates.
- Manage and maintain the application/resume file in accordance with company policies.
- Follow up with candidates periodically to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Perform hiring and onboarding duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience in recruitment or staffing.
- Willingness to travel domestically as necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media with the ability to initiate and manage social media recruiting campaigns.
