QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MSDS & Blood Borne Pathogens Training
EXPERIENCE:
- Custodial experience preferred
- Ability to communicate and work well with staff and students
DEMONSTRATES KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCY OF EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS AND SKILLS:
- Vacuum
- Buffers
- Trimmers
- Extractor
- Cleaning chemicals
- General Custodial Hand Tools
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
- May be required to alter working hours to perform regularly assigned duties;
- Keeps assigned building and premises, sidewalks and driveways neat and clean during working hours;
- Sweeps, vacuums, dusts, and empties trash daily; based on a schedule;
- Maintains a daily inventory of supplies and reports the need for replacements;
- Reports safety hazards and the need for major and minor repairs;
- Performs safety measures and secures the area;
- Sets-up and cleans-up for meetings and sports activities;
- Secures buildings;
- All other related tasks as assigned
