PALFINGER is searching for an Assembler. This position is located in TRENTON, NEW JERSEY. This position reports to the Parts Supervisor. The Assembler will manually select/pick semi-finished materials and components (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) by hand and via the use of a forklift or other moving equipment, to be kitted & assembled by reviewing the kitting or assembly instructions, blueprints specifications, and parts lists. Your Responsibilities
- Locating parts, kits and subassemblies by using templates, reading measurements and using a measuring tape.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; letting lead know of shortages.
- Will be required to move parts from one location to another, as needed. May drive a forklift to move parts.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
_____ Your Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience performing basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Two years of mechanic, hydraulic and/or electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math functions and use a measuring tape.
