Description
The Programmer Level 1 is responsible for writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code under the guidance of senior developers. This entry-level role assists in software development, supports system enhancements, and ensures program functionality aligns with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, modify, and test code based on specifications.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
Assist in the design and development of small-scale applications.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
Document code and technical processes.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
Support maintenance of existing applications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, version control like Git).
Understanding of fundamental programming concepts (OOP, data structures).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to databases (SQL, MySQL).
Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS).
Internship or academic project experience in coding.
