Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Nurse Vaccinator for our Pharmaceutical partner based out of West Allis, WI.
Job Overview: The Mobile Vaccination Nurse plays a pivotal role in our organization's commitment to public health by delivering essential vaccination services. The nurse will be responsible for administering vaccines, providing health education, and fostering a positive healthcare experience for individuals, focusing on reaching underserved populations throughout the Regional area. This position held Monday-Thursday and working four 10 hour shifts.
Responsibilities: ·
Administer a variety of vaccines in adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
· Ensure proper storage of vaccines.
· Engage with patients professionally and empathetically, addressing concerns and providing educational resources about the importance of vaccination.
· Cultivate an environment that values cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff and healthcare professionals, to ensure the seamless operation of the mobile vaccine clinic.
Qualifications:
· Current and valid nursing license
· Proven experience in vaccine administration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Knowledge of vaccine storage and handling protocols, maintaining the integrity and efficacy of vaccine
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively a mobile environment
· Frequent travel to and from pre-designated vaccination clinics and pharmacies
· Reliable transportation to and from vaccination clinic sites
Pay Details: $33.00 to $34.00 per hour
