Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at the facility. This role is critical for maintaining compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and reducing environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all site EHS programs, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Act as the site's EHS subject matter expert, guiding leadership on safety and environmental initiatives.
- Coach and mentor operations leaders to meet safety program requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the main contact for government and agency inspections.
- Conduct EHS audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Oversee hazard/risk assessments and observation programs.
- Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs.
- Stay current on applicable EHS laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, hazardous materials management, and wastewater compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
