Work location is subject to change based on business needs. Job Description: The Infusion Assistant will provide various supportive services within the Nursing Department. This position involves maintaining accurate and timely deposits, confirming delivery tickets with month end goals, maintaining office supply inventory for nursing, and assembling set up packets. Performing support and assistance as requested. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional clerical/receptionist experience required
- Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Skills with prioritization and multi-tasking
- Proficiency with problem resolution
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Computer aptitude
- Mathematical aptitude
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Prior service industry or healthcare industry experience preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing excellent duties by:
- Answering calls within three rings and properly introducing self in a pleasant clear voice
- Returning phone messages or other communications promptly, avoiding personal calls (or minimizes) to allow customer access to
- business lines
- Taking messages, following special requests as given
- Provides efficient and productive company support by:
- Understanding task requirements
- Completing duties thoroughly, professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining correspondences/requests in confidence
- Enter, update, and maintain all nursing schedules
- Manage nursing visits to include care plans and appropriate visit forms
- Keeping appropriate files (electronic/paper) as requested
- Maintaining office supply inventory for Infusion office and nursing needs
- Track, manage, and fax all Clinical Plans of Treatment
- Manage billing out of AlayaCare and into CPR for all nursing service visits
- Track completion of all nursing forms
- Setting up patients in AlayaCare documentation system
- Coordinating receipt of completed admission information with appropriate clinical/delivery staff; scan documents to CPR+
- Maintaining a level of proficiency in CPR+ computer program for sufficient support to all departments as needed
- Special projects support requested by various departments
- Other projects/tasks as assigned by Nurse Manager and/or Supervising Pharmacist
- Assisting with maintaining Clinical Patient Census List for all branches/locations
- Responsible for tracking and submitting to billing nursing delivery tickets for infusion
- services
