Rotating Weekends & Holidays: Required

Pay Rate: $ 70 - $ 75 per Hour on W2

Position Summary: We are seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in acute care settings to join the Diagnostic Radiology team at Elmhurst Hospital Center. The ideal candidate must be proficient with relevant CT equipment and capable of working night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians in accordance with established protocols
• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure high-quality imaging results while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Accurately document procedures in the EPIC system
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff
• Adhere to all hospital, departmental, and regulatory safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid NYS Department of Health license as one of the following:
  • Radiologic Technologist
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Radiation Therapy Technologist
• Certification:
  • Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support): Preferred
