FLSA Status: Non Exempt - Union
Job Mission: To provide a welcoming first point of contact and support a seamless experience for all guests and clients entering OLHSA.
Performance Standards:
Greet all agency guests and clients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere by actively listening and maintaining a friendly disposition. Provide accurate information about the agency, programs, events, and facilities; resolve minor issues; and refer agency guests and clients to the appropriate staff member, program, or division. Ensure all guests and clients sign in and out in accordance with agency safety protocols, and promptly notify appropriate staff of their arrival. Accept and distribute/notify recipients of agency deliveries in a timely and secure manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting entrance area; distribute promotional materials as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, front-desk, or other public-facing office role.
- Strong verbal communication skills and knowledge of basic computer applications/internet required; experience using Microsoft 365 preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Valid Michigan driver's license, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle for work-related travel are required.
