Position: Purchasing Project Manager Department: Purchasing and IT ExemptPosition Reports to: Vice President of Purchasing and IT OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Purchasing Project Manager. What will you be doing most days? Plan coordinate, and implement purchasing for hotels according to the specifications and deadlines Include procurement and installation phases of food preparation and owner supplied equipment in multiple locations under construction or renovation Organize project data, schedules, and responsibilities often to ensure efficiency Oversee the prompt and accurate completion of project milestones that contribute to and drive on-time ordering, coordination, and delivery Coordinate the interior designers, consultants, and service providers with construction timelines and site conditions Monitor vendor and consultant performance, logistics, and quality control Effectively communicate necessary information to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, the achievement of targets, and the resolution of issues Prepare RFQs, qualify bids, and manage budgets Perform project closeout, invoice processing, and cost reconciliation What are the requirements for this position?
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field with possible certificates in related disciplines
  • You have a demonstrated record of success delivering on-time, on-budget projects that incorporate multiple vendors, consultants, and contractors
  • You have proficiency in procurement, project budgeting/cost, and web-based project management collaboration tools
  • You have proficiency in Excel and PDF markup tools (e.g. Adobe, Bluebeam).
  • You have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • You have strong time management and organization skills required to manage multiple priorities to successful completion
Physical Requirements for this PositionThis is a largely sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.Travel Requirements This position requires up to 10% travel.
