How you'll contributeTheOccupational Therapistis responsible for assessing patients' ability to perform daily living and occupational tasks safely and effectively. Based on the evaluation, the therapist develops and implements individualized plans of care, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities and techniques. Progress is monitored and documented through subjective and objective measures, with modifications made as necessary. The Occupational Therapistprovides education to patients and their families or caregivers regarding functional deficits, adaptive strategies, and the use of assistive equipment. Additionally, the therapist plays a key role in discharge planning and supervises certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state laws and professional standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required
  • State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
