Duties / Responsibilities of this Position:
- Identify, propose, and support solutions leveraging Oracle technologies to improve business processes across various departments.
- Provide functional and technical support for enterprise Oracle applications, including ERP, Financials, and Supply Chain modules.
- Analyze, develop, and execute ad-hoc SQL queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and business intelligence needs.
- Configure, maintain, and support EDI transactions and integrations between Oracle systems and external customers/suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements or new modules across Oracle EBS environments.
- Participate in full-cycle Oracle R12.2 implementations, upgrades, and post-go-live support efforts.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and training of users on system procedures and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Oracle process flows including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Financials, and Demand-to-Build.
- Develop and support custom RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components using AIM methodology.
- Maintain current knowledge of Oracle system updates, best practices, and industry trends through training, certifications, or seminars.
- Support PC-based applications integrated with Oracle systems, including MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, as needed.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to ensure timely resolution of issues and high-quality support for business users.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT general controls and documentation related to Oracle systems.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in Information Technology within Oracle ERP environments, particularly in manufacturing or supply-chain-focused industries.
- Deep understanding of Oracle R12.2.x with at least two full lifecycle implementations and post-production support experience.
- Strong functional knowledge in one or more Oracle domains: Financials (AP, AR, PO, GL, CM, FA, iProcurement, iSupplier) or Supply Chain (OM, INV, BOM, WIP, ASCP, PA, QA, QP, WSH, MWA, RLM).
- Proven experience with SQL and Oracle EBS query development for troubleshooting and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with setting up and supporting EDI integrations within Oracle.
- Familiarity with the Oracle AIM methodology for RICE development and documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technologies and Oracle system advancements.
