Job Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to support a healthcare organization in Dallas, TX on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will manage full-cycle recruitment for both Nursing (clinical) and corporate/non-clinical roles, partnering with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, develop creative sourcing strategies, and identify top talent.
The ideal candidate has experience in full-cycle recruitment in a corporate or healthcare environment, is skilled at intake sessions with hiring managers, and can manage a high-volume requisition load while building strong relationships across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of talent acquisition for both clinical (Nursing) and non-clinical/corporate roles, including tracking vacancies, monitoring applicant flow, and developing effective sourcing strategies.
- Conduct detailed intake sessions with hiring managers to define minimum and preferred qualifications for open roles and create tailored recruitment plans.
- Screen and review candidate applications to ensure alignment with role requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and guidance.
- Provide concierge-level support through virtual and on-site meetings and deliver regular recruitment reporting to hiring managers.
- Interpret and apply policies and procedures for complex hiring situations and recommend process improvements when necessary.
- Conduct competency-based pre-screening of candidates and refer qualified applicants to departments.
- Attend job fairs, post positions on internal and external websites, and develop new talent sourcing channels.
- Assist with onboarding, new hire orientation, and training of newly employed staff.
- Provide guidance to managers on compensation, job description development, candidate qualifications, and other HR-related matters.
- Negotiate offers with candidates and coordinate placement notifications and orientation scheduling.
- Perform other duties as assigned and provide backup assistance to peers when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment; agency or RPO experience is not preferred.
- Ability to conduct intake sessions and partner effectively with hiring leaders.
- Comfortable managing a high-volume requisition load (average 40–50, with occasional spikes up to 70).
- Clinical experience preferred for Nursing support; healthcare knowledge is a plus for non-clinical roles.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and full-cycle recruiting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
