This role will oversee 7-9 staff members. Must have ERP experience. Seeking a fun personality with the ability to problem solve. Will lead and oversee all supply chain functions, including procurement, planning, logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance. Should have strategic vision, and deep operational expertise to align supply chain objectives with overall business goals. The Director will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and reliable delivery performance across the organization.
Leadership-Provide direction to supply chain teams, establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Strategy-Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company growth, margin improvement, and operational scalability goals.
SIOP Management-Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to align demand, capacity, and inventory investment.
Procurement-Oversee supplier selection, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
Supplier Management-Implement supplier performance metrics and drive improvement in On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality, and cost.
Inventory Control-Optimize inventory levels, improve turns, and ensure materials are available to meet customer commitments.
ERP/MRP Execution-Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and material allocation.
Logistics-Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
Cost Management-Monitor and control Purchase Price Variance (PPV), freight costs, and working capital targets.
Continuous Improvement-Lead lean initiatives to eliminate waste, improve processes, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Technology Integration-Leverage systems and analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, visibility, and decision-making.
Team Development-Mentor and develop supply chain leaders, building a high-performing team capable of meeting current and future business needs.
