The Marketing Coordinator will play a key support role in our marketing efforts, working closely with internal teams and our external marketing partners to implement strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage clients and stakeholders, and drive business objectives. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. The Marketing Coordinator will handle day-to-day tactical execution while ensuring all activities comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based initiatives, in alignment with strategies provided by our external marketing partners.
  • Coordinate content creation and distribution across channels such as social media, email newsletters, website updates, and client outreach materials.
  • Support market research efforts by gathering data, analyzing trends in the healthcare sector, and preparing reports to inform decision-making.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including maintaining marketing calendars and asset libraries.
  • Organize, promote, and attend events, such as community outreach programs to build relationships with clients, providers, and local partners.
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and CMS software; compile metrics and recommend optimizations.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and healthcare-specific compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA privacy rules).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, clinical staff, and external vendors, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Handle vendor coordination for printing, graphic design, and other outsourced services.
  • Stay updated on healthcare marketing trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; healthcare-related coursework or certifications are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare or a related industry; entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), and digital tools like Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proven organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines in a team setting.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office-based environment.
  • Commitment to ethical marketing practices, especially in sensitive areas like client data and health information.
  • Experience working with external agencies or consultants on marketing projects.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific tools, such as EHR systems or client engagement platforms.
  • Basic data analysis skills, including experience with Google Analytics or similar metrics tools.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling in a healthcare context.

Work conditions:

Sedentary, with some standing and walking on a regular basis. Various work settings subject to interruptions, moderate noise and other environmental conditions. Requires the ability to travel to external sites, meetings etc.
