CONSTRUCTION EXECUTIVE (PROJECT EXECUTIVE) – MISSION CRITICAL (REMOTE + TRAVEL)

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm representing the nation's leading electrical, mechanical, and general contractors. We have been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for multiple Construction Executives (Project Executives) to support large-scale data center projects across the U.S.
Construction Executive Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Approx. $200,000
- Per Diem: $5,000–$7,000/month (based on cost of living in the project city)
- Travel & Temporary Relocation Expenses: Covered by employer
- Relocation Expectation: Prefer candidates relocate to project city for 18–24 months
- Home Travel Schedule: Two 3-day weekends per month – home every other weekend (flexible)
Construction Executive Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of a single, large-scale data center project from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead all project management functions including financial oversight, scheduling, client management, and subcontractor coordination
- Serve as the highest-ranking project leader on-site, ensuring project goals, safety, and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with internal teams and executive leadership to align project strategy with company goals
- Manage high-level communications with the client and ensure executive reporting on performance
- Maintain strong presence on-site while coordinating with corporate or satellite offices
Construction Executive Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Project Executive on large-scale data center projects
- Prefer candidates who are already functioning at a PX level (not senior PMs seeking a step up)
- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle for projects valued at $100M+
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with high accountability standards
- Excellent client-facing and communication capabilities
- Ability to travel and relocate short-term based on project location and schedule
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
