Location: Glasgow, DE ( Onsite)

Role/Responsibilities :

  • Operate Laboratory Diagnostic instruments to perform testing of key design changes, enhancements, and software improvements.
  • Prepare test samples, run QC processes, and process test samples in a wet lab.
  • Handle biohazardous samples and familiar with operations in a clinical lab environment.
  • Create, edit and modify worklists and system configurations to align with test requirements.
  • Modify test protocols based on guidance from client managers as required.
  • Document test results, anomalies and issues diligently and participate in failure reviews.
  • Assist test engineers in troubleshooting problems and recreating failure modes.
  • Maintain clear and thorough laboratory records.
  • General requirements include Bachelors/Masters degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Bio Medical Engineering or Biology with experience working in a medical laboratory.
  • Years of experience operating clinical analyzers in a hospital or reference lab is a strong plus.
  • Verify integrated subsystems performance as per specifications.
  • Author test protocols and methods and conduct testing as needed.
  • Experience building test equipment and test fixtures for performing automated tests along with using tools such as Matlab,LabView is a plus.
  • Quick to learn new instrumentation.
  • Be flexible in their daily operation.
  • Time management skills.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to kneel, bend, squat, stand for long periods of time.
  • Be able to have good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
  • ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certified – Highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in relevant field.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $29.32 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $38.26 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
