Position Overview:

Patrol Protect Secure, Inc. (PPS) is one of the fastest-growing providers of armed and unarmed security services in the U.S., with a national footprint and a strong private-equity backing. As we scale from 2,500 to 6,000 employees in the next 24 months, we are seeking a Regional Vice President, a seasoned, execution-oriented leader who can bring structure, accountability, and high performance across a multi-state operational portfolio.

This role is built for an executive with the experience and gravitas to lead complex field operations while translating enterprise strategy into measurable business outcomes. Reporting directly to the COO, the RVP will manage a team and serve as the primary operational integrator across regions—ensuring alignment, consistency, and growth-readiness at every level.

FLSA Exempt: Yes (Salaried)

Total Comp: $140,000-$180,000 (including base + bonus)

Other Incentives: Company provided car + gas

Bonus Eligible: Yes

Geography: Chicago Area, Northen Indiana, Milwaukee, Madison, etc.,

Work Type: Onsite with flexibility

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

❖ Strategic and Regional Leadership & Planning

  • Serve as the connective tissue between enterprise strategy and field execution—owning the performance of a defined region across multiple business units.
  • Deploy standardized operating systems, KPIs, and accountability measures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and operational rigor.
  • Act as a key advisor and strategic thought partner to the COO, offering insights into regional trends, risks, and opportunities

❖ Business Unit Performance & Financial Stewardship

  • Drive margin expansion, resource optimization, and long-range operational planning across assigned business units.
  • Own full regional P&L responsibility, ensuring revenue targets, cost controls, and productivity benchmarks are achieved.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with Business Unit Leaders, leveraging data to assess risk, forecast accurately, and course-correct swiftly.

❖ Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee all core operational functions (e.g., scheduling, logistics, resource allocation, service delivery) to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data, analytics, and performance metrics to drive process enhancements.
  • Partner with IT and other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that increase efficiency and operational visibility.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, championing an environment where employee well-being is paramount.

❖ Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Delegate effectively, ensuring performance gaps are addressed, and achievements are recognized and rewarded.
  • Champion ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to cultivate future leaders.

❖ Change Management & Adaptability

  • Plan and champion large-scale change initiatives, clearly communicating the vision, rationale, and execution roadmap.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to secure buy-in and support for new processes, structures, and technologies.
  • Promote organizational agility, ensuring PPS can quickly respond to new opportunities, challenges, or client demands.

❖ Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build collaborative relationships across executive, finance, HR, and business development teams to maintain strategic alignment.
  • Deliver transparent, timely updates on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and business developments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of open dialogue and trust, encouraging team members to share ideas, voice concerns, and drive innovation.

❖ Accountability & Results

  • Set ambitious, measurable objectives for operational teams, regularly reviewing progress against key performance indicators.
  • Identify and remove barriers to success, ensuring resource alignment and efficiency in achieving strategic goals.
  • Uphold ethics, integrity, and compliance, reinforcing the Company's commitment to its core values.
  • Maintain focus on top priorities—particularly safety, employee well-being, and client satisfaction—to deliver sustainable results.

❖ Additional Duties

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and service-level agreements to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in industry conferences and professional networks to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned, in line with organizational objective

Job Requirements:

❖ Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

❖ 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, with 3+ years overseeing senior executives across multi-state, high-volume portfolio; security services or a comparable service industry experience strongly preferred.

❖ Proven P&L ownership and demonstrated success managing $100M operations.

❖ Proficiency in operational management tools, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

❖ Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, risk mitigation, and strategic planning.

❖ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.

❖ Travel flexibility to support regional business units (estimated 40%).

Preferred Qualifications:

❖ MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

❖ Experience in armed/unarmed security services, or a closely related field.

❖ Familiarity with compliance standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

❖ Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale technology solutions to enhance operational performance.

❖ Proven track record of driving cultural transformation through inclusivity, accountability, and innovation.
