About the Role:
We're looking for a Supply Chain Operations Supervisor to manage and optimize the flow of materials in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring that materials and components are available on time, production runs smoothly, and customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee purchasing, inventory control, production planning, and logistics functions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to balance cost control and product availability.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting in ERP/MRP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).
- Lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with proven success managing teams.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
