As a Physical Therapist serving as Clinic Director, you will utilize manual techniques and therapeutic exercises to increase strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination to relieve pain, avoid injury, or regain function. This position requires close physical interaction with patients, offering numerous opportunities to truly connect with individuals and build meaningful relationships. Often, these patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is essential. Giving patients the drive and support they need to work hard and regain their health is equally important.

A Physical Therapist serving as Clinic Director who excels in this role will:

• Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions
• Establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family
• Perform therapy interventions
• Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, and designated staff

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in physical therapy
• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania
• Open to active/pending state board licensures and those sitting for their board exam within six months
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy

Physical Requirements:

• Walking and climbing stairs without assistive devices
• Lifting and reaching with sufficient strength and flexibility for patient interaction
• Sensation and manual dexterity to perform therapeutic assessments
• Visual acuity for patient monitoring and observation
• Clear speech and adequate hearing to communicate effectively with patients

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Must follow standard precautions using PPE as required
