About the Job:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Project Controller to support a dynamic project control team. This role is crucial in coordinating multiple project functions, managing communications, and ensuring smooth project delivery across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support project management teams by coordinating with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction teams.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including consultants, law firms, equipment vendors, construction contractors, and government officers.
- Assist IWT site construction teams with inspections, commissioning, and client coordination.
- Provide Korean/English translation and interpretation during meetings and for documentation.
- Record meeting minutes, agendas, daily activity logs, and draft reports.
- Conduct project-related research, monitor news, and gather relevant contractor data.
- Manage official documents, business communications, and coordinate external meetings.
- Oversee document control processes, including organizing, translating, reporting, and uploading documents.
- Support project cost estimation and procurement activities.
- Provide on-site interpretation support.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience:
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Korean/English bilingual proficiency (native-level speaking, writing, and reading).
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of office/site experience (construction industry or Korean company experience preferred).
- Strong multitasking and deadline management abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized with keen attention to detail and follow-through.
- Familiarity with plant industry terminology for effective interpretation.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Trimble or other document management systems a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
- Desired: 3+ years in construction project scheduling/control/forecasting; experience in high-tech (semiconductor) or industrial projects; domestic EPC and international/multicultural project experience; flexible to commute, work overtime, or weekends as needed.
