My client is a Real World data SaaS company that utilizes AI / ML to support all elements of research and innovation for their BioPharm / Pharma clients
Requirements – Who You Are
Seeking an Engagement leader for key accounts in North America to drive renewals, ensure successful implementation, deliver measurable value, and identify expansion opportunities. This role requires a results-driven, customer-centric professional who thrives in high-inertia Life Sciences environments and can navigate complex customer hierarchies. Must embody extreme ownership, excel at leading high-performing teams, and consistently deliver complex data solutions with potentially challenging client scenarios
This role is 100% Remote but you need to be based in San Francisco as this is where the majority of your clients will be.
What You Have Done
- 5+ years in product or service delivery leadership within Life Sciences software/data, with expertise in at least two of the following 3 areas: Discovery/Early-Stage Development, Late-Stage Development, Manufacturing (Quality Control etc.).
- 3+ years in management consulting.
- Startup experience and track record deploying solutions for top bio/pharma companies.
- A history of upselling and retaining clients.
- Led delivery teams through complex GxP-compliant implementations.
- Mentored engagement/project/program/customer success managers to peak performance.
What You Will Do
- Lead delivery teams to accelerate time-to-value, achieve high satisfaction, and meet renewal targets.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources for complex implementations and deployments.
- Partner with sales to pursue expansion opportunities and create account-specific growth plans.
- Gain deep product expertise to evangelize solutions to diverse customer personas.
- Translate customer feedback into product enhancements and share relevant roadmap updates, being the liaison between Product and Sales.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure retention and account health.
Non-negotiables:
- delivery experience. You must have delivered Product to a customer externally to their own company.
- Have expanded an account (can be services, but ideally it's a product upsell)
- Science background
- Biopharma industry experience
- Knowledge of product within TS space (data product/R&D/MFG)
