Plant Manager Opportunity in Sheldon, IA

Our client is excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to join a prominent organization within the thriving Agriculture/Food sector. Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that all activities align with the company's goals for efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Maintain strict compliance with regulatory agencies, ensuring that all plant activities adhere to established industry standards, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and SFSF (Safe Food for Canadians Framework), if applicable.
• Lead quality control initiatives by overseeing and enhancing processes that safeguard product quality and consistency, while also implementing continuous improvement measures to boost overall operational performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to achieve seamless operations and meet production targets effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in agriculture, grain, or feed.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field preferred.

• Plant Management: A solid history of managing plant operations with a focus on optimizing processes, reducing downtime, and achieving production goals. The ability to inspire and lead diverse teams is a critical component of this role.
• Regulatory Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of compliance standards is vital, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations meet or exceed the stringent requirements of the Food & Beverage industry.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills paired with strong communication abilities to effectively manage teams, convey expectations, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges within plant operations and develop practical, innovative solutions to address them promptly and effectively.
