Job Description:

TITLE: Supply Chain Quality SpecialistEMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc.LOCATION: Newport Beach, CADUTIES: Supporting on-time delivery and quality of Cabin materials from suppliers and their sub-tiers. Assessing of the supplier's rate readiness. securing industrial quality performance tosupport future rates and consolidating the industrial risk outlook and mitigation action.Employing knowledge of Airbus' Supply Chain Quality processes, standards, andrequirements to execute vital job duties related to Airbus' Quality, industrialperformance, NPI/ToW (Transfer of Work), and Supply Chain Continuity Management.Assessing relevant Airbus suppliers and set up a diagnosis through industrial audits toassess the supplier's capability and performance and contribute to the supplierdevelopment. Communicating at all levels within the supplier's organization and Airbusto influence the decision making and work out short-term recovery plans for complexdisruptions. Sharing Supply Chain Quality expertise and best practices. Coaching andidentifying common issues and securing knowledge transfer within the Supply ChainQuality Management (“SCQM”) teams to drive the continuous up-skilling of thecommunity. Improving and shaping the future of Airbus methods and procedures andserving as a local referent for Operational excellence and AOS brick deployment.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply ChainManagement, Logistics Management, or related field and 5 years in any job title includingexperience in industrial planning, supply chain management, quality management, andcontinuous improvement in the telecommunications, electronics, aerospace, automotiveor related industry. Prior experience must include: 2 years of experience in productionenvironment; Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), structuredproblem solving, Risk Management, and Continuous Improvement including Lean SixSigma; Managing complex NPI and Transfers of Work, including stakeholder managementand associated reporting; Leading industrial capacity assessments, audits, and qualityassessments; Producing independent data, analysis, and reporting; and Applying valuestream and process mapping. Up to 50% domestic and international travel required forbusiness meetings, training, audits, and assessments. Telework permitted up to 40%.
