Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the general maintenance and repair of an assisted living community, striving to secure the lowest-cost solutions to maintenance problems.
- Supervision of maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure the community is properly maintained.
- Providing leadership, training, and development of assigned staff members.
- Implementing the community Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
- Coordinating the Hazcom Program.
- Performing safety audits, checklists, and emergency drills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of, and ability to learn, the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community.
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members.
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
- Knowledge of, and ability to learn, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Knowledge of management and accounting.
- Ability to meet budgets and control costs.
- Proficiency with computers, internet, and software applications including Word and Excel.
- Must meet all health requirements, including acceptable TB test results.

Salary Range: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
