Position Summary

The care partner provides personalized care and services to residents, upholding Oaks Senior Living's mission and promoting residents' well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities in a professional, kind, and caring manner.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults, with a friendly, caring disposition.
• Must be 18 years or older, with a satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician and a negative drug screen.

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident calls.
• Assist with activities, encourage participation, and support residents in daily routines.
• Assist with meals, including serving and meeting individual needs, and observe/report changes in appetite or physical abilities.
• Help clean the dining area after meals.
• Assist with cleaning and tidying residents' rooms or apartments.
• Support residents with showers, toileting, dressing, and grooming tasks.
