Major Responsibilities
  • Support effective, efficient, and safe operations throughout the integrated medical group.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, APCs, operational, and clinical leaders across the system. This role works through collaboration and influence, without direct reports.
  • Act as a catalyst and role model for behavioral and process change.
  • Provide tools and set expectations for local operations leaders to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor, sustain, and elevate best practices related to operations.
  • Update policies and procedures, ensure dissemination, and support education and training.
  • Offer ambulatory operational expertise for the medical group.
  • Develop mechanisms to ensure local compliance with medical group standards and assist outliers in improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather best practices and benchmark.
  • Communicate, present, and influence change while engaging stakeholders.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary teams to define objectives, analyze data, build buy-in, and drive solutions.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Allied Health, or related field.
  • Typically 7 years of leadership experience managing multiple direct reports in ambulatory care, preferably in large, matrixed health systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High initiative, independence, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Effective team player across various professional levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, A3 Thinking methodologies.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • May require domestic travel to sites or industry forums.
  • Generally standard business hours with occasional flexibility.
  • Normal office environment with significant computer work.
