This role focuses on executing and optimizing test processes, improving test fixtures, and ensuring product quality. - Perform testing and validationof detectors, ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits), and PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) used in radiation imaging detectors.
- Support test fixture development and improvement, working with off-the-shelf components to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Assist in thedevelopment and execution of automated testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot test failures, diagnose root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintaintest and measurement equipment, ensuring proper calibration and operation.
- Assist withfailure analysisusing structured problem-solving methodologies such as8D, Ishikawa (Fishbone), or FMEA.
- Work with cross-functional teams tooptimize test processesand improve product validation.
- Ensure compliance withISO 9001 and industry testing standards.
- Documenttest results, procedures, and troubleshooting stepsto maintain clear and repeatable test processes.
- Collaborate with design engineers duringdesign reviews, providing feedback ontestability and manufacturabilitybefore product release.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degreeinElectrical Engineering,Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-5 yearsof experience intest engineering, manufacturing test, or related fields.
Key Skills & Abilities
- Strong hands-on experiencewith test fixtures, measurement equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability towork with off-the-shelf componentsto improve test fixture performance.
- Experience usingoscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and digital multimeters.
- Basic knowledge ofstatistical analysis toolssuch asSix Sigma, SPC, or Design of Experiments.
- Experience withreliability and compliance testingfor product certification
- Comfortable working in anISO 9001-compliant environment.
- Ability tocollaborate with cross-functional teams(Operations, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance).
- Familiarity withtest automation and scripting(e.g.,Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar tools) a plus.
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skillswith a detail-oriented approach a plus.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skillsto maintain accurate test records and reports.
